Privacy
Effective date: July 2026.
This is a personal site. It is built as static pages. I am not trying to follow you around the internet.
There are no analytics scripts here. No ad trackers. No tracking pixels. No third-party behavior profile hiding in the footer.
The site does not use cookies, except that your browser may store a theme preference locally so the site can remember light or dark mode. That preference stays in your browser through localStorage. It is not sent to me as a profile.
If you email me or ask to be added to the newsletter, I will have your email address because you gave it to me. The newsletter is add-you-by-hand via email. I use those addresses for the newsletter and direct replies, not for ads, list rental, or audience matching.
If you want off the list, email me and I will remove you.
The hosting provider may keep ordinary server logs. That usually means things like IP address, browser, requested page, and time of request. I do not use those logs to build dossiers. They exist because servers exist.
If you have a privacy question, email me: zach@thekitchen.co. It is really me on the other end.
